As a producer and guitarist, Rue Protzer works for his own label “Guitar Nova” as well as for major labels such as Sony Music. He moves in various genres such as jazz, lo-fi, pop and classical music. He is currently producing various musical projects with a focus on acoustic and nylon string guitar.

Rue Protzer has been the bandleader of 4 at the club for many years. Booked across Europe, the live band plays at premium events, such as the “Ball des Sports” in Wiesbaden, the “BMW Open” in Munich, the “Internationales Galopprennen” in Baden-Baden and international trade fair events.

With “Jimmy Der Gitarren-Chef” Rue Protzer launched a series of electric guitar instruction books in 2017. The books are aimed at children and have established themselves as a frequently used medium for electric guitar lessons. The associated videos have been streamed more than half a million times.
